Litterbug Patrol Alley Cleanup Day
Each January, dozens of volunteers join together to clean up the alleys in a 15 block area of Bessemer.
The volunteers break up into three teams and patrol their assigned alleys removing weeds, trash, and small debris.
Operation Paintbrush
Each year, in September, hundreds of volunteers tackle the daunting task of painting the exterior of 25 - 35 homes for elderly or disabled homeowners. |
